3D Artists Picture New York in the Year 2030

This bona fide glimpse into the future comes courtesy the 3D art team at Visualhouse, a company that makes architectural visualizations for some of the biggest designers in the business, including Bjarke Ingels, David Chipperfield, and Zaha Hadid. With access to 3D models of the biggest projects that will roll out in Manhattan over the next two decades, they decided to put them all in one place.

"Over the years Visualhouse has worked on the majority of New York's future landmark buildings," Visualhouse managing director Robert Herrick tells The Creators Project. "This work has culminated into the #NY2030 campaign, a collection of images depicting the dramatic future skyline of Manhattan. To create this campaign our creative team selected a number of strategic viewpoints around the city that best depict the rising skyline, from there our production department 3D modeled and rendered the future towers into the imagery, portraying our high standards of photoreal quality."

Here's a full list of the buildings that will grace the city's skyline by 2030—though, as HUH. Magazine points out, the majority will be finished as soon as 2020, so that sweet view is even closer than we thought.
