[Will Butler](http://www.butlerwills.com/) is a member of the band [Arcade Fire](http://arcadefire.com/), and he co-wrote the score for the film _[Her](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1798709/)_, which earned him an [Oscar nomination](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/86th_Academy_Awards#Winners_and_nominees). In March 2015, he put out his first solo album, [Policy](https://www.mergerecords.com/policy). This interview was recorded live at SXSW.
