The shortest lunar eclipse of the century may have come and gone this weekend, but the tastiest one thus far is alive in NYC-based designer Yona Lee's celestial new artwork, Yummy Moon. In Lee's world the moon isn't made of cheese—but instead, Nilla Wafers. 450 of the cookies were munched to create an accurate chart of all the moon's phases arranged into one giant lunar surface, with the help of a projector to shape and arrange each morsel.Lee's graphic design practice also encompasses the inedible, a body of work which includes alternative book designs and a clock that changes color according to the Pantone value of the current time.
