Pack your bow and your fiercest outfit: Hunger Games-themed theme park attractions are coming to Dubai. News of Lionsgate's commitment to the project had been circulating as early as 2013, but yesterday the studio confirmed that their in-development Motiongate Dubai park would soon see a Panem-themed shop and rides among the park's 27 Hollywood attractions as early as October 2016.

Lionsgate Chief Executive Officer Jon Feltheimer told Variety that the Lionsgate section of the 4 million sq. ft. attraction will be "a thrilling total entertainment experience designed to attract millions of new fans." The announcement also comes with the confirmation of a live show based around the Step Up franchise.

Lionsgate and Dubai Parks and Resorts have not yet released any images of what they want to be the "largest multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination" in the Middle East, but we're looking forward to possibly getting to buckle ourselves into Katniss and Peeta's fiery chariot.
