David Lynch has had a fashion-filled month. First, it was announced that he'd be collaborating on a [capsule collection of female sportswear](http:// http://thecreatorsproject.vice.com/blog/viral-style-david-lynch-fashion-real-time-selfie-makeovers-and-tech-enabled-tattoos), and last week he directed a nail polish commercial for Louboutin. We finally got a chance to view the latter, and the CGI-heavy ad is exactly what you'd expect from the man behind Laura Palmer's glamor. In just 50 seconds, Lynch brings viewers through a plastic castle compound in outer space before we see twirling shoes that fall apart and float, which are followed by twirling, kaleidoscopic nail polish bottles. The whole clip is blanketed under a twinkling, hypnogogic soundtrack, too. It's not quite ominous or grotesque, and we're almost a little disappointed that it didn't culminate in some brutal murder or a trip to a parallel universe.
