British animator Cyriak, who we interviewed back in September, is known for his surreal animations that usually owe a debt to Terry Gilliam’s work with Monty Python, Escher, and the epileptic art of the gif, like his terrifying Wall of Shatner. Cyriak’s inventive animations are usually short, offbeat journeys featuring impossible structures, repetitive imagery, and mind-bending visuals. But now he’s made a music video for Eskmo’s track “We Got More”, out on Ninja Tunes—a label known for their love of boundary-pushing videos—and it’s as hallucinogenic as his other work, turning a bustling cityscape into a kaleidoscopic dreamscape.
