Dvein Turns Warped Mouths Into A Creepy "Chorus"

"Chorus" is an amazing oddity, as if Jodorowsky made a Pixar film... or something.

"This project started as a poster but quickly evolved into a disturbing video…"

Though self-aware, design studio Dvein's description of Chorus still feels like an understatement. The one-minute clip is a fleshy piece of experimental art that makes us squirm (kind of with glee). Short and simple, the video includes eight spherical chunks of skin sporting tooth grins and making the kind of noises one makes when obscenely bored, and totally alone.

And yet we can't stop watching…

It's as if Jodorowsky directed a Pixar film, or another odd couple we can't quite put our mouth finger on. The hypnotic video and related art print (below) are part of the upcomingThis Is NOW exhibition in Norway, which will showcase fifteen prominent designers and illustrators from all over the world. Though we expect every participant to be talented, we doubt any of them will one-up the awesome weirdness of Chorus.
