Emotional Abstraction With DAT DAT DAT's Liquid Music Video

Visual eyewash.

There are many ways to make a music video, but here on The Creators Project blog we’re quite partial to abstract, bleak artificial worlds generated using the open source 3D graphics software Blender. And Berlin-based design studio DAT DAT DAT‘s vid for Egyptrixx’s (feat. Ohbijou) track “Old Black” ticks all those aforementioned boxes. There’s some silky smooth rendering going as random shapes evoke the music and take you on a journey into an inky, liquid heaven.

And to compliment these exquisite visuals check out the vid they did last year for Egyptrixx’s track “Start from the Beginning” which, according to the Vimeo blurb, “examines the relationship between the simulated image and its physical manifestation.”
