As the founder of Strike Gently Co, I deal in pins and patches daily. The Creators Project asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of these will probably sell out. If you like them, smash that “add to cart” button. Every Wednesday, you can head to the bottom of this article for an exclusive discount code so you can keep your pin game sharp.

This week was a great week for the pin game, specifically in the realm of cartoon pins. I never thought I’d say it: most bootlegs make me roll my eyes, and if I see another hipster wearing a Simpsons pin, I might scalp 'em, blue hair and all, but below you’ll find some clever and obscure cartoon bootlegs, plus a few wholly original ideas.

Errant Actual

A lot of people make gold pins. It’s an easy way to make something simple look fancy. This pin from Errant Actual, however, is so well-designed that I’m going to overlook the black-and-gold trope… Half of my pins are black and gold anyway. Rock this one to remind people that you have a vast sword collection and they shouldn’t mess with you.

Dribble Killer

Dribble Killer came out of nowhere with one of my favorite pins yet. It’s cute without being annoying, which is so hard these days. The colors are spot-on and remind me of 80s Memphis Milano design, which lends itself to some pretty neat pin concepts. I’ll definitely be picking one of these up to support these Dribblers. They’re a really new brand, so give 'em a follow.

The Silent Bell

Neko Atsume is so cute that if a company made bootlegs of every design, I wouldn’t even feel bad about buying them all. Good thing that The Silent Bell has done precisely that—I’m going to start rocking these cute cats on my backpack next to my Man Is The Bastard skulls and reaper patches. The key to everything in life is balance, right?

Peabe

I’m mostly including this one for my girlfriend, who loves Bob’s Burgers and basketball. Then again, this pin applies to everyone. Peabe knows their niche—they’ve done countless Jordan bootlegs and all of them are pretty good, but this one takes the cake. I don’t know where Bob is throwing the burger. Hopefully into a customer’s mouth. Burger is life, folks. Burger is life.

PeopleSuk

This brand has a name that I would have named my brand if I started it in middle school. I also loved the show Recess back then, so that’s cool. Remember this piece of work? Randall has a face that only a PTA mom could pretend to love. You know what they say? Never follow a Randall to a second location. Gospel truth.

That’s all, folks. Support these brand by buying their stuff and head over to Strike Gently Co. for 20% off with the code SUMMER. Really creative, I know.
