As the founder of Strike Gently Co, I deal in pins and patches on a daily basis. The Creators Project asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of the biker pins I’ve seen have said things like "LUST>LIFE," "SIT ON MY FACE," or the classic "IF YOU CAN READ THIS, THE BITCH FELL OFF," but Moto Revere makes a variety of tasteful motorcycle-inspired pins. I’m genetically too scared to ride a motorcycle, but I would rock this helmet pin any day of the week. If I'm lucky, people will think I'm an actual road warrior.

Prayer hands are as prevalent a symbol as any, and thanks to Drake now seem to appear more frequently than even crucifixes. Sausage Skateboards has a solution that’s sure to turn any Hypebeast’s Pyrex in a knot: they also have hats with the same image on it.

The Simpsons easily take the cake for the “most reproduced cultural symbols on pins.” Instead of making stupid bootlegs involving the main characters of the show, however, appropriation powerhouse zzz.nyc (who also has a Dick Wolf pin) made a pin of greyhound puppy Little Monty. It’s cute but badass and I would buy it even though my Simpsons knowledge is, at best, cursory.

Just Visiting became a soft-goods niche meme powerhouse when they produced a Chicago Bulls shirt with a distorted Guernica bull and replaced “Chicago” with “Picasso.” It’s a great shirt for that special graphic designer in your life. They’ve since updated their catalog with various other European art history/basketball hybrid concepts. The latest is definitely my favorite, inspired by the Memphis Group.
