Incessant car sirens, trains, and the general hustle'n'bustle make city living hard on the ears. In Beyond, an audiovisual experiment, stock footage provider Dissolve puts together a cathartic audiovisual assault on this everyday urban noise, juxtaposing their own library of sweeping mountain, river, and forest footage with Soundsnap's jarring recordings of noise pollution. The beeps and bumps slowly fade out, leaving nothing but pristine views and a soothing soundtrack of babbling brooks and wildlife.
