Lluis Panades Julia: FOUND FOOTAGE MUSIC VIDEOS

Londoner Lluis Panades Julia has been extensively experimenting with found video footage. His ongoing project FOUND FOOTAGE MUSIC VIDEOS is composed of distorted music videos for indie bands from around the world. In his editing process, Julia manipulates old video footage, recycling images into a new composited audiovisual context. Here we feature Julia’s production of Morgan Freeman’s Early Life from Yellow Ostrich.

The user-friendly Pixl app allows users to explore colors and pixels at great length. By taking a photo or choosing an existing image form your photo library, users are able to create artworks by adjusting settings including pixel size and color contrast. The final composition can be saved to the device in both portrait and landscape mode, allowing users to create countless combinations of incredible imagery with a simple touch. The app is design for both iPhone and iPad and can be purchased on iTunes.
