John Harwood: Geometroflora

In the video above, UK-based 3D CGI artist John Harwood capitalizes on naturally occurring geometric forms. But he casts his digital floral designs in bronze and gold, re-contextualizing them entirely, producing geometric transmutations that create a kaleidoscopic visual effect. Harwood sums up his work in the video's typographic conclusion: “immersive gold bronze interplay—Geometroflora.”

Filiz Sahin: Cosmo Path Type

Cosmo Path Type is an Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) font that plays on the labyrinthine quality of office cubicles, the anatomy of spaceships, and the simple two-points-make-a-line graphic geometry that Adobe Illustrator's pen path tool utilizes. The font is free to download courtesy of Sahin.

Watson Design Group: Mobile Augmented Reality Demo

The same day that Google's Project Glass patent was approved, WDG shared a video of their own dabblings in augmented reality. Above, the creative group explores the capabilities of two new mobile augmented reality platforms (compatible with both Android and iOS) developed using Unity3D. In this video, an experimenter uses both an iPad and an Android to guide a virtual car through a constantly shifting AR landscape.
