Winter is forever, thanks to land artist Simon Beck's snowshoes.

As Game of Thrones fans, we have been patiently waiting since June of last year for the show's sixth season, set to release this upcoming April. What better way to celebrate the new season than a giant Game of Thrones-themed snow mural?

English land artist Simon Beck, known for his colossal snow engravings, has yet again carved an astonishing mural in a snowy mountainside. In anticipation of the show’s return, Beck, armed with his snowshoes and ski poles, etched out a chilling, large-scale rendition of a dire wolf, from the crest of the House Stark. At the bottom the wolf portrait the artist writes the iconic Stark motto, ‘Winter Is Coming,’ made more impressive by its rendition in the intricate Game of Thrones font.

In the video feature below, published by Sky Atlantic network, watch Beck plot a skeleton of lines on the chosen section of the mountain. Once he plans the mural, it's simply a matter of connecting the dots by walking through the snow. Well, maybe not so simple. Check out Beck in action in the images and video below:
