Graffiti Light Mapping Electrifies Street Art

Illusion Research Lab shows us that light mapping is always an awesome flourish to any artwork.

Illusion Research Lab is a visual experimentation label that continues to convince us that light painting is awesome, no matter how simple or straight forward it is. The group has little information available online, but its last three videos have been electric exercises in projecting mini light shows on personalized tags and pairing them with chilled out electronic tracks.

The videos were made in support of Lezarapart, an 18-year-old art event that takes place in northern Marseille, France. We want to see these graffiti light shows appear on the work of a street artist doing large-scale pieces likes ROA or Os Gemeos. The mind reels…
