Patti Lapel
This one’s personal. Back when I was in school, and either sick in bed or faking it, I would somehow always find myself glued to The Price is Right. My tiny child brain, malleable and impressionable, found solace in the ridiculous hypercapitalist spectacle… Makes sense, actually. Now that I think about it, I’d wear this pin proudly.$10.00 here.A photo posted by Patti Lapel (@pattilapel) on

Bracelegs Collective
There's no love lost between me and the breakout teen pregnancy fantasia, Juno, but I do care about hamburger phones. They’re a great idea, and all but a relic of the past. Bracelegs Collective has immortalized the burger phone in a pin, since most of you, with your cool young parents, would be fools to waste money on a landline. RIP, dial tones.$10.00 here.A photo posted by Bracelegs (@bracelegscollective) on

Suspect LTD
Suspect LTD has done it again, this time creating what might be my favorite pin ever. Wear this one to tell the world how you really feel. Wear it on a crowded subway during commuter hour and maybe you’ll even have a minor civil suit on your hands. That’s the beauty of city living, baby. Wahoo!A photo posted by SUSPECT LIMITED (@suspectltd) on

Thunder Yells
The Grateful Dead is hip again and, man, am I pleased. Where I grew up, all the cool people loved the Grateful Dead. Then I moved to New York, where everyone's measuredly into Burzum and chokers. Suffering and sexual repression, sure. But you know what else is cool? Music that relieves you of those ailments. Thunder Yells had the brilliance to put the "Solo Jazz" design onto the "Steal Your Face" logo, and the result is an instant classic. 90s kids + 70s jams = 100% Self-loathing-free chill.$10.00 here.A photo posted by Josh Balick (@thunderyells) on

Still Water Supply
Speaking of the ironic glorification of mental illness, here’s a pin about depression! Wear it to show people that you had a secret My Chemical Romance fanfic Livejournal in 7th grade, but that you’ve since graduated to soft goods because fashion is less work than literally everything else.$10.00 here.Ok, that’s it for this week. What a relief!
