Have A Blast Playing The Insane Candy-Colored Indie Skate Game Zineth

It’s Tony Hawks set in a psychedelic wonderland.

If you were looking for a game which combines speed, movement, and tweeting, then Zineth—put together over a Spring semester from a collective known as The Arcane Kids—could scratch that itch.

You leap and bound and slide around a psychedelic, lo-fi world in a Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater playing style, taking or leaving objectives that are sent to your cellphone. The landscape is huge as you whizz along building up momentum so you can launch yourself off ramps and practically fly around the candy-colored geometry. The physics can be a little tricky, but if you take a tumble and fall, it’s no big deal—you can just rewind and make that jump again.

It’s free to download, so take the afternoon off and give it a go.
