Here in New York, we’re experiencing this summer’s first serious heat wave. The thermometer is wavering around a hundred degrees, and we’re losing our minds just a little bit trying to make sense of it all. We’re not sure how to express this delirium in words, but thankfully Max Capacity’s newest GIF series says it all for us.These pulsating, multi-colored GIFs depict a city in the throws of a heat wave much like ours, reacting to it like a CD case melting on a dashboard. You might have shown these to us on a more temperate day and we would have interpreted them differently, but right now we see HEAT. Here’s to enjoying every climbing degree this summer.
