How 'Game of Thrones' Keeps Topping Its Amazing VFX

Season 5 nostalgia is coming.
Screencaps via

In a word, the fifth season of Game of Thrones was BIG—bigger battles, bigger death counts, bigger dragons, and (for some) bigger feels. With its ritual VFX behind-the-scenes video release, Rodeo FX proves how they followed suit. As you can see below, whole new kingdoms, armies, and acts of revolution came to life under their careful watch. It makes you want to binge-watch the whole season again, complete with squabbles over whether or not Jon Snow is coming back next season, no matter what HBO or Kit Harington say.

Prepare your gods-fearing heart, because the short starts with the felling of Meereen's Egyptian deity-like crowning statue and doesn't stop bringing back Westerosi memories till you're lost in the haunting Hall of Faces. Nostalgia is coming.
