You can't go wrong getting back to the basics, and few get more basic than YouTube star HowToBasic, whose tutorials for stuffing turkeys, having sex, or making breakfast feature some of the most primal content in the "how-to" marketplace. Now, the mysterious guru reveals his wisdom in the realm of art, and it's something special to behold:As with all of HowToBasic's videos, How To Paint a Realistic Eye, which we spotted on artist Joe Kay's Facebook, doesn't give you the information you were looking for, but it does give you what you need: the image of his paint and egg-covered legs burned into your memory for eternity. The funniest thing is that his parody of the tired "how to paint" genre of YouTube video actually isn't too far off from some of the most challenging performances from artists like Hermann Nitsch and even Taj Bourgeois. And at 5.6 million subscribers, who's not to call him an artist?Check out more HowToBasic on his YouTube channel.Related:Reign in BloodCHEEKY LaSHAE Marries Karaoke, Puppetry, and Performance Art Performance Art: Now, with More BubblesWhen Browsing Facebook Becomes Performance Art…
