Hyped: The Week In Links 6/8

Busy week? Here are some things you may have missed.

This week on the blog we looked at Rick Rubin as our Original Creator, interviewed UK dance musician Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, found out what Creator Mira Calix was up to for London’s Cultural Olympiad, found a robot that could swim and houses that can fly. We also saw how artificial organs could help us in a post-apocalyptic world, were thrilled by a short documentary about projection mapping, and got the lowdown on My Dry Wet Mess’ new video.

· An interview with designer Ash Thorp, who helped concept some of the user interfaces on the computer systems in the film Prometheus.

· Watch your life flash before your eyes in A Brief History of Video Games.

· Will automated sweatshops be the future of clothes manufacturing? With Darpa’s help they could be.
