Hyped: The Week In Links 8/17

This week on the blog we leapt and bound and slid around with Zineth, the insane candy-colored skate game, broke down the individual musical slices of Gohmn’s The Black Room, looked over some techniques electronic music artists are using to experiment with digitally produced sound, watched the sky light up with vibrant pigments for the Holi festival of color, and pondered what our post-petroleum future might look like.

Elsewhere on the internet…

· MIT developed a fully autonomous, fixed-wing aircraft that’ll probably be nodding its head around your air space in the near future.

· This Personal Energy Ball (above) monitors your internet time and makes you compensate for it in exercise.

· Artist Amy Alexander talks women, art, and technology.

· And finally, this dad souped up his son’s toy car to let him tear up corner’s like Paul Walker in The Fast And The Furious—or maybe more like Brum in, um, Brum.
