Whether it actually works or not is entirely subjective, but park that for a moment and have a look at another experiment involving this iconic film called The Wizard of Oz Experiment, by artist Dennis Neuschaefer-Rube.In his video installation the movie is shown 5,829 times side by side arranged in rows from left to right and time shifted by one second each. The start is located at the top left and finishes bottom right and continues in a loop repeating every 98 minutes. The result (the first two minutes of which is in the video above) creates a shifting, pixelated wall of colour swimming before your eyes.To further create a sense of Oz-like dislocation in the viewer, a female computer voice narrates the subtitles from the film in a 68 minute loop.[via Triangulation Blog]@stewart23rd
