'Last Voyage' Is a Video Game About Space That Is Not About Spaceships

The mysterious puzzle game is kind of like 'Monument Valley' meets 'Interstellar.'

You don’t have to worry about blowing an alien spaceship to smithereens in this interstellar video game. In fact, life within the science fiction-inspired Last Voyage is much more zen: all you have to do is align geometric forms and solve mysterious portal puzzles in five distinct chapters.

Its developers, Semidome Inc., describe Last Voyage as “a game about space that is not about spaceships but rather what lies beyond human culture and technology. A game where you don't master a single task but rather explore a range of concepts.” To keep players on their toes, different levels are mixed up so that some are more tricky than others. Last Voyage will be available for purchase in the iTunes store tomorrow, but for now, dive inside its seductive minimal landscapes.
