Technological avant-gardist and legendary musician and performance artist Laurie Anderson is returning to one of our favorite NYC venues, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, you’ll be glad to know. Today, BAM will release its calendar for the Next Wave Festival, and the space appears to be the last stop for Delusion, a piece she originally composed for the Vancouver Olympics. There are many others appearing as well, but Anderson’s long been one of our heroes and we’re giving her all our attention.Tickets should go on sale today, and the show will run from September 21 through December 19.Here’s Laurie discussing Delusion, and offering up a rather well-argued rejection of rectangles.
