When we’re physically in spaces, we don’t tend to spend too much time thinking about them. But through creating geometric light sculptures, Meagan Streader’s site-specific installation W-inter frames the gallery area in a way that forces the audience to truly consider the space they occupy. The Australian artist used electro-luminated wire to light Brisbane's Metro Arts gallery space, creating large-scale but delicate shapes that emanate a stark glow in the dark gallery, whose windows have been blacked out for the exhibit.
