Artist duo Kimchi and Chips produce what can best be described as visual feasts. The collaboration between British digital media artist, technologist, and curator Elliot Woods and South Korean Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design graduate, Mimi Son, provides viewers with mesmerizing cosmic projection mapping displays and hauntingly impressive 3D light artworks.

Commissioned for the 2015 edition of the STRP FestivalLight Barrier Second Edition is their most recent physical installation. Incorporating the use of concave mirrors, projection and scanning, its visuals follow a story which seizes your attention from the offset. In the continuation of their 2014 Light Barrier piece, viewers travel into a realm of light and sound, following a digital form that moves through the light barrier, transcending the limits of its home, and passes through the light barrier once more (leaving the door open for a third edition, or so we hope!)
