London fashion designers Agi & Sam—Agi Mdumulla and Sam Cotton—unveilled their menswear range on Saturday for the London Collections: Men show, which takes place over the weekend and today. Their playful F/W patterns were inspired by designs from The Coolman Collection, the first menswear collection Mdumulla ever created: a series of drawings he did when he was only four years old.The original prints featured bold and colorful graphics, but the pair also took some jackets along to local primary schools where pupils were tasked with tearing them apart and putting them back together with velcro, like jigsaw puzzles. The pair then created designs based on the childrens' creations.Along with this, they went one step further with their theme, creating bizarre facemasks for the models which also took inspiration from a childhood hobby: LEGO. The results are surreal visions that look like frozen explosions of colorful plastic brick parts. Check out some of their designs below:Image via
