Need More Nude Men In Your Life?

We’ve got you covered.

You know what makes everything more interesting? Nakedness. And although the de facto choice for nudity both online and off tends to take shape in the female form, the latest in the Numen Nudemen series from Hong Kong design collective db-db aims to convert everything you see into a bunch of half-naked dudes. The Numen Camera 1.0 is an iPhone app that recreates any picture you take as a collage of half-naked 8-bit cartoon men in pink undies. Now if that doesn’t sound like $0.99 well spent, we don’t know what does. Imagine what fun you’ll have turning your friends’ faces into a gang of scantily clad bros, then posting it all over their Facebook profiles.

The app is the latest in a number of other Nudemen projects from db-db including the Ask Nudemen app, and the Nudemen Clock, both of which are every bit as hilarious and ridiculous as they sound. But the original project that launched a thousand nude men was a web-based art project back in 2003 called Nude Messenger, which allowed users to send an e-card via a nude 8-bit messenger (which received much acclaim on the media arts festival circuit).

We can’t wait to see what the folks at db-db come up with next!
