Insta of the Week: Nicki Minaj Has Her Warhol Moment

Nicki Minaj's NY Times Mag profile was the bossest moment of the week.

Female rap powerhouse Nicki Minaj was the subject of a fascinating (and controversial) New York Times Magazine cover story this week that ended with the pop star telling reporter Vanessa Grigoriadis,‘‘Do not speak to me like I’m stupid or beneath you in any way… I don’t care to speak to you anymore,’’ before walking out of the interview.

The whole interview is packed with instant-classic boss Minaj quotes, which Noisey has conveniently gathered here, and framed by some excellent Warhol-esque photos and GIFs from Erik Madigan Heck. His flashy Instagram post, above, is not only a realization of Minaj's ascendence to the high throne of music and culture, but some serious eye candy. Check out some of his other work below, and read the full New York Times Magazine article here.
