Nostalgia x 2: NES Visuals And 90s Music

Act like the last two decades never happened.

You get two doses of nostalgia for the price of one with this strange series of videos that were originally released in 1990 on VHS by Ultra Hot Video (might not want to google that at work). It pairs visuals from (then) current and upcoming NES games with the chart-topping dance and hip-hop hits of the day in hour long remixes called Nintendo Preview Music Jam. Bangin’.

Don’t act like you don’t care for it, at four minutes in you get Predator (the game) visuals set to Beats International’s “Dub Be Good To Me” phasing into Public Enemy. The 90s fest continues with Bobby Brown, Janet Jackson and much more in two other volumes (see below) all kindly uploaded by Retro Reality. So put on some colorful, baggy clothes and act like the last two decades never happened.

If nothing else, these priceless mash-ups serve as valuable historical documents. Video game marketing departments, take note.
