Creator Joshua Third and his post-punk band The Horrors get cartoon-ified by famed “monster creator” Pete Fowler in their new video for “Changing The Rain.” The psychedelic animation bears Fowler’s signature style of Yellow Submarine meets Hanna-Barbera’s 1960s adventure cartoons on psylocibe mushrooms.Although we’re sure some of those elements have met before, Fowler’s treatment for The Horrors creates a brand new, timeless environment where dinosaurs walk alongside speaker-laden time machine keyboards, and the only residents are the disembodied cartoon heads of the band.@ImYourKid
