P-Cube consists of a 9 meters high, 9 meters wide scaffolding structure. Its surfaces are wrapped with a semi-transparent layer of fabric, providing a ghostly and ephemeral appearance during the daytime and becoming fully alive with light and projections during the nighttime.
The cube has been designed in a way that creates a gate in each of its 4 sides, providing an entry to the site and a meeting point for passers by. Two sets of stairways provide access to the public viewing platform located inside the cube at 6 meters high. The public viewing platform offers excellent views over the site and lets the audience be immersed in a digital world of light, movement, colour and shadows. 
The digital component of the installation features a grid-like organism that slowly transforms the integrity of the cube through a series of morphological changes. P-Cube features a sound component specially composed for the occasion by local electronic musician Pixelord.

P-Cube

[Marcos Zotes](http://www.unstablespace.com/)' _P-Cube _uses the industrial everyman material of scaffolding and combines it with semi-transparent fabric to create a temporary installation at Moscow's Polytechnic Museum. By day the structure has a spectral presence and at night geometric projections make it pulse gently with digital life.

The public can walk inside the near 30-feet by 30-feet temporary pavilion, walking up a stairway to a viewing platform where they can look over the site and are immersed in the grid-like morphological projections mapped onto its skin, along with the interplay of color and shadows.

Like many of Zotes' projection-mapped structures, as well as being economical, resourceful, and easily assembled, the piece provides a meeting point for people inside an architectural animation.

The piece was accompanied by music from [Pixelord](http://www.pixelord.ru/), a Moscow-based musician.
