Rafaël Rozendaal Reflects On The Meaning Of Mirrors In His New Exhibition Popular Screen Sizes

Rafaël Rozendaal is one of the big names and innovators in contemporary digital art, selling his wares as mobile apps and websites, showing the world that you can make digital art and sell it like you would its more traditional cousins. But that isn’t to say he doesn’t show his work in more traditional settings too.

Currently on show at the The Green Room in London is his exhibition Popular Screen Sizes, which brings his playful artistic reflection offline to explore “the fine line between something and nothing.” Because, as he says, “Art freezes things, so you can pause and stare and wonder. To freeze things, simplicity is key, the simpler the better, the more isolated the more focus.”
