Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's breakout sci-fi sit-com Rick and Morty is coming to virtual reality, a move that's got us asking, "What is reality anyways?" Adult Swim Games teamed up with Owlchemy Labs to make Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality. It's a simple-looking game that simulates life at the Jerry, Beth, Summer, and Morty Smith's house, from living room to Rick's mad science lab. This scenario is familiar—in a twist-filled episode called M. Night Sham-Aliens!, our alcoholic anti-hero sees himself in a near-perfect simulation of his world that could only be escaped by yelling complex commands into a crowd at a rap concert. That's just one of countless occasions in which Harmon and Roiland have asked their audience to question the reality they take for granted. Inception-like dream sequences, interdimensional clones, and microscopic theme parks, turn reality to mush so frequently, that there must be more to this Rick and Morty "virtual reality experience" than meets the eye.viaOwlchemy Labs claims they've been, "optimizing plumbus physics and working on the intricacies of Rick’s flask," for months, but the only way to find out what's really going on with Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality will be to try it when Adult Swim brings the demo to San Diego Comic Con from July 21-24.Thumb via WiktionaryRelated:'Rick and Morty' Adds 20 New Worlds to InstagramThe Painful Secret Behind Rick and Morty's BurpsThe Creators of 'Rick and Morty' Told Us the Secret to Comedy
