'The Sculpted Alphabet' Turns Unexpected Objects Into 3D ABC's

Flesh-covered K's, tentacle H's, and more digital weirdness.

Maybe there's a language barrier here, but German design studio FOREAL's The Sculpted Alphabet, isn't helping us learn our ABC's through image associations. Rather, graphic artists Benjamin Simon and Dirk Schuster, have made arbitrary-yet-striking digital sculptures using a little Cinema4D and a big splash of creativity.

The artists wrote, "New tools, new playgrounds. One single rule: Choose a letter and sculpt it." Simple enough, but the results aren't: flesh-covered K's with piercings, tentacle H's, and breast-covered E's. Even if the logic isn't clear, the designs are vibrant and quirky. Take a look at our favorites below, and see all 26 designs over on Behance.
