Street Murals Conquer Austin at SXSW [Photos]

From trumpeting armadillos to real snakeskin boots, these street artists an amazing mark on Austin last week.

The lights are out on Austin's yearly tech, music, and media bacchanal, South by Southwest, but the work of POW! WOW! founder Jasper Wong and his meticulously curated band of local and international street artists, has just begun. Previously, we gave you an in-depth look at POW! WOW! as it took to Honolulu, decking out the streets in massive painted murals and fighting "graffitification" in the process. Now, the imaginative Esao, classy spray artist Fafi, and longtime POW! WOW! collaborator Madsteez took the city by storm throughout the festivities, leaving behind a gorgeous lineup of murals. Check out the selects below.
