Divergent and absorbing photographs, videos, installations and multimedia works from 50 selected student artists of 25 different nationalities come together for The Musée de l’Elysee's 30th anniversary show: the third edition of reGeneration3. Distinguished by its “multidisciplinary approach,” reGeneration3 is an international photo initiative first launched in 2005. This year's exhibition follows the model of its two prior editions, which were shown in 2005 and 2010 and attracted over 300,000 visitors. The museum contacted 350 art schools and centers for artistic training around the world and asked each institution to send the works of their five most promising students.

The final selection is made up of 50 projects selected from emerging artists from India, Cambodia, Poland, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK, and the United States. The museum's picks were subsequently divided into thematic sections: "documentary subjects; the question of memory; and the wealth of aesthetic photographic expressions inspired by the history of the medium and, more broadly, the history of art," as described on the museum's website.

Below, check out a few snapshots from the show's high-caliber contents:

reGeneration3 runs from May 28th until August 23, 2015. Learn more on the Musée de l’Elysée Lausanne's website.
