Shot on the streets of San Francisco, this music video is a visual ode to the city by Hypno SF, a collaboration between director Kevin Parry, Andrea Nesbit, and musician Kalle Mattson. The video, for Mattson’s song “Water Falls,” feels like it was shot on a giant swing that extends across the city, from Lombard Street to Alcatraz and beyond, as the footage flies across the city whooshing through the streets like Superman late for work. It’s quite a brain-straining and manic way to see the city and isn’t for those who like their sightseeing at a relaxed pace. But it’s thrilling and, to add to the disorientation, is interspersed with the hypnotic rotation of spiralling black and white circles. If you want more brain-aching vertigo, check out the GIFs below.[via Waxy.org]@stewart23rd
