This August, we’re transforming the elegant nineteenth-century Moinho event space into a two-day art and technology fest with interactive art, live music, films, workshops, and panels.
So far, LA-based hip-hop producer AraabMUZIK and Brooklyn-based electronic duo Tanlines will be performing, as well as up-and-coming rapper Karol ConKá and DJ/producer Leo Justi. We’ll be announcing more bands in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Chris Milk‘s large-scale Kinect-powered installation The Treachery of Sanctuary, will be making its South American debut, alongside Cantoni & Crescenti’s installation Wall, and SuperUber’s interactive, mobile gaming work OctoCloud, which will be shown in Brazil for the first time.
We’re also showing Minha Yang‘s Meditation 1208~, Zigelbaum + Coelho’s pixel installation Six-Forty by Four-Eighty, Doug Carmean and Social Print Studio’s real-time Instagram installation #CreatorsLive, Raquel Kogan‘s audiovisual piece o.lhar (“to see”), and Gisela Motta and Leandro Lima’s mesmerizing LED installation Rainbow.
We’ll be screening films including the LCD SOUNDSYSTEM’s movie SHUT UP AND PLAY THE HITS, and hosting panels on sustainable fashion with Osklen and DIY music with Emicida and Daniel Ganjaman. We’ll be announcing more screenings, panels, and workshops very soon! Delectable gastronomic fare from O Mercado, featuring food from some of São Paulo’s top chefs, will be available until 10 PM all weekend.
Stay tuned for more event announcements!
