Portrait of Florence Welch by Tom BeardSince we know you’re antsy about seeing all your favorite bands and films and probably want to map out your plan of attack, here’s a first look at the weekend’s schedule (below). We’ve turned the archway under the Manhattan bridge into a stage, but we’ll also have a stage set up near Tobacco Warehouse (where you can also see and interact with UVA’s massive LED installation) and an indoor DJ hub at 55 Washington alongside interactive installations from SOFTlab, Zigelbaum + Coelho, SuperUber and Team DisKinect.Karen O and K.K. Barrett‘s psycho-opera Stop the Virgens debuted Wednesday at St. Ann’s Warehouse! We guarantee you won’t want to miss out on what the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s frontwoman’s been conjuring up over the past six years, plus she’s brought on an all star cast of collaborators to support her—watch the performance’s trailer here. Do note, separate tickets must be purchased for Stop the Virgens.Sunday’s focus will be on artwork, films and panels, including the US debut of two films from Korean brothers PARKing CHANce and Chinese punk rock filmmaker Peng Lei. Read more about the films and watch the trailers here.Stay tuned to the event page for the most up-to-date details, but without further ado….
