A very special chocolate Easter bunny has hit the market. Standing at over a foot tall, weighing 11 pounds, and carrying a pair of 1.70 carat diamonds in its eye sockets, it can all be yours—for $49,000. "The World’s Most Extravagant Chocolate Easter Bunny" is the product of Luxury retailer VeryFirstTo.com who teamed with London jewelers 77 Diamonds and award-winning UK chocolatier Martin Chiffers on the creation. With $37,320 diamond eyes, a solid slab of Tanzanian cocoa, and a smattering of gold leaf, "extravagent" seems like a bit of an understatement. As the New York Daily News points out, VeryFirstTo.com is no stranger to eye-catching products with eye-catching price tags: last year they offered "a holiday hamper filled with a 200-year-old cognac, caviar, truffles, foie gras, and foie gras with truffles worth $134,650, and a Valentine’s Day dinner package prepared by a Michelin-starred chef" all at the bargain price of $99,300. Bunny orders must be in by March 28th to be ready in time for Easter, but remember, there's also the dollar store.
