Quite often you'll find that the office you work in is "brightened" up by putting in some artwork, which is not always to everyone's tastes. But when you're designers yourself then you have the advantage of just being able to build your own piece of office art. This is what Wasaw-based art collective Platige Image did in collaboration with design studio Bridge, creating an interactive installation in their lobby.

The piece was algorithmically-designed into a 3D-printed cellular structure that integrates video mapping, creating animations from data pooled from the sculpture's surroundings in real-time using the Kinect and geometry data. As well as looking good it also acts as a spatial canvas for the artists at Platige Image to showcase their work.“The installation begins to exhibit multiple behaviors when people are present in the lobby." notes Adam Wierzchowski from Platigue Image. "They become an attractor for the projection which mirrors their silhouettes when they remain in front of it for a while.
