Chinese designer and creator Vega Wang is probably best known for her experimentation with military-inspired, yet ladylike, ready-to-wear fashions, most notably in her electroluminescent “Into the Deep” launch collection. While her Fall/Winter 2010-2011 “Loneliness Stays Forever” collection is dominated by neutrals, her capsule cape collection features strong architecture, flouncy skirts and the dominating tone of royal blue with a splash of red, possibly alluding to her upcoming Spring/Summer 2011 collection: “First Love, Last Rites.” We’ve posted our favorite cape looks below, seemingly channeling a look that screams Little Red Riding Hood-meets-Superwoman.
