Tonight: Party Online and Offline at the Same Time

The party platform #LIVINGROOMTODAY is a live broadcast and a crew of party-hard video artists.

#LIVINGROOMTODAY is reshaping the way contemporary artists communicate with each other by hosting an ongoing communal space that exists both online and IRL. This reimagined “living room” is a chat room and also a monthly nomadic art installation. Basically, it’s just a non-stop, cross-country livestreaming party for artists of all creeds.

“Created as the antithesis to the exclusivity of the art world, #LIVINGROOMTODAY seeks to redefine the contemporary living room in the face of the wave of technology that has so destroyed the sanctity of such a livable, communal space,” states the program’s press release. This month’s installation takes place in New York City and will be live broadcast with Swim Team, and simulcast from London with Kesh, LA with Karman and Steel Rain, and many other artists from around the world. The images we've received of the party's participants shed no light on what #LIVINGROOMTODAY will be like, except that it will be wild, and the only way to find out is to go. See you there.
