Watch Shia LaBeouf Watch 72 Hours of Shia LaBeouf Movies, Starting Now

Stop what you're doing and head to the Angelika Film Center.

Nearly five hours into the performance, we can confirm that he's taken at least one bathroom break, made himself cry a couple times, and written a bunch of stuff all over the walls of the Angelika. If he's already getting stir crazy with 67 hours left, we're waiting on the edge of our seats to see what carefully orchestrated—or improvised—chaos he wreaks.

That's right: Right now, film star-turned-performance artist Shia LaBeouf is sitting in the Angelika Film Center on Houston Street, watching every single one of his films in reverse chronological order. The marathon started at noon today with recent war movie Man Down (2015) and will end with the 1998 TV movie Breakfast with Einstein. This isn't just a dramatic take on the Netflix binge, though, it's a performance art piece by his collective, LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner (LRT), entitled #ALLMYMOVIES. Gothamist called the Angelika to confirm that LaBeouf wasn't bluffing, and they confirmed that yes, he's actually there.

A livestream of LaBeouf's face during the performance is available on New Hive, but he's actually opened the cushy theater seats to the public. Presumably he's inviting people to try to interact with him while younger and younger versions of himself are projected onto a larger-than-life screen. At the very least, participants will be able to breath the same air as the lungs that shouted "DO IT!!!" on millions of smaller screens across the world after LRT's #Introductions went viral earlier this year.

Earlier there was some confusion about the schedule, and for a brief, shining moment it seemed like Hayao Miyazaki's 1984 classic animated film Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, for which LaBeouf voiced Asbel in the 2005 English dub, would be the final film. Miyazaki's animated magic might have washed down Transformers, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skill, and Surf's Up, and it would have been a positive note for the actor's 72-hour binge to end on. Adorkable's Nick Orsini posted this schedule, but just minutes ago thrashed these pipe dreams with an official lineup, which you can check out below.
