Glaswegian producer Hudson Mohawke today shared the tenth edition of his annual "Valentine's Slow Jams" mix series, featuring tracks by Tyrone Davis, Twista featuring Pharrell, D.J. Rogers, and more. It follows last year's edition, which exclusively featured tracks by UK artists such as Eternal and Yaz, as well as a previously unreleased tune from himself. For the special occasion, he's also shared a silly teaser video for the mix on Twitter. Set in an operating room, it features pretty graphic footage of a heart procedure—Get it? Valentine's day?—and doctors talking, overdubbed with subtitles so it looks like they're being interviewed about HudMo."I mean, I like Alexander O'Neal as much as the next guy," says one surgeon. "But to be completely honest I prefer his early stuff, like TNGHT. I like grime."Last year, Hudson Mohawke released Ded Sec, his soundtrack for the Watch Dogs 2 video game. Set in San Francisco, the game finds the user playing as a hacker named fighting an insidious operating system that's overtaken the city.
