Nightizm and Polar Youth Expand their Boundaries with “LFS”

A trip-hop, chill-wave journey on a magic cloud.

Tristan Lawrence, now Nightizm, began producing and mixing in 2009 and has since become one of Toronto's freshest sounds—fresh enough to headline Piknic Electronik this summer.

Known as one of the more diverse sounding artists in the city, Nightizm's music ranges from ambient beats to hip-hop and all that rides the groove wave in between. After remixing stadium-filling artists like Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, and The Weeknd, he released his debut EP—Renaissance—showcasing his shadowed musical finesse.

Nightizm says, "'LFS (Looking For Someone),' reminisces on life and its on-going adventure. It makes me feel like I'm travelling through the world with an open mind ready to take on anything."

Collaborating with Belgian producer, Polar Youth, this is the first original release of the summer for the Torontonian, who says there is plenty more on the way.
