Catch Ron Arad Discussing His New Work In An Upcoming Talk

The celebrated designer and artist will be discussing his fascinating new projects.

Celebrated designer and artist Ron Arad will be in conversation with Richard Strange this Wednesday 15th May at the House of St Barnabas' chapel in London. The talk will be a chance for people to learn about some of Arad's upcoming and recent work, like a piece called Blame The Tools which he says is a symbiosis between the physical and digital and will be shown at the Royal Academy this summer.

He'll also discuss a major new exhibition of his, In Reverse—what he calls an "anti-retrospective"—which is taking place at the Design Museum Holon, a museum Arad designed. This particular exhibition will feature Fiat 500s that are squashed to become paintings, making a nod to his earlier days when he used to bash metal.

Other works he'll talk about include his show at the Venice Biennale, which involves creating drawings on an iPad which are then scratched onto glass with diamonds via a custom-built machine.

Tickets for the talk are priced at £10 and are available here. Doors open at 7pm.
