How to Download a Boyfriend Is A Group Art Exhibition In The Form Of An E-book

Over fifty artists are featured in this interactive, downloadable exhibition.

When we hosted our digital arts week a month or so ago we discussed the new ways in which digital art is being exhibited and sold—from galleries to web browsers and Tumblrs, even high-def LED displays. And, to prove how versatile digital artworks are with regards to this, publisher Badlands Unlimited has released a “first of its kind” group exhibition as an interactive e-book.

Called How To Download a Boyfriend is a 57-page e-book-cum-exhibition that can be downloaded to your iPad for the admission price of $4.99. And for that you get to see the work of Cory Arcangel, Travess Smalley, Petra Cortright, and loads more—up to fifty artists looking at love in our current century. Along with the artworks there’s also quizzes with absurd and playful questions to break up your art browsing.
